POST 12

My more recently holiday was in this summer when I went to Algarrobo, a Chilean city located in the country´s central coast with a relaxing resort. First, I came with my family and my cousin Florencia to Santiago, this year I started the university so I came to know the city and my University. We stayed in the flat of my aunt, where my cousin Eduardo was too. When finally I finished all my regulations, I, my family and my cousin travelled to Algarrobo.
Our travel was long about 5 or 4 days, I don´t remember so well how long it was but it was less than a week.
We knew so many places, the first day we went to El Quisco, it is next to Algarrobo and it was next to where we were stayed. After of this we know Playa Negra and the Pablo Neruda´s house, a cultural house with beautiful view of the sea.
Next day, we walked around of El Quisco beach, it was an exhausting day, but in the night with my sister and my cousins, we went to the fair of the El Quisco downtown, next to the beach.
In the morning my cousin Eduardo left us because he had class to the next day.
That day we went to the beach of Algarrobo with my aunt, who was there, the same who is owner of the flat in Santiago.
In the last day we went to the same beach, our bus comeback to Santiago at the 7 pm from Algarrobo.
So that was my holidays, it wasn’t my best holidays but maybe it’s my favourite one.

This holidays means to me family, swimming, sun and heat.

  1. Being from Santiago sometimes we just go there just to eat, it is strange hearing from the perspective of someone who isn't from the center

  6. Algarrobo (watch out, not the towns next to it) is overrated, it's like a low-cost Reñaca :v
